A joint partnership between IT service providers, hardware and software manufacturers, the U.N.’s Environment Programme and the International Telecommunication Union, GESI aims to foster sustainable development and improve environmental sustainability in the industry.
The group’s mission is to share knowledge and experience to manage operations sustainably, raise awareness of how IT can contribute to society, and engage in research and benchmarking to help improve overall performance.
Among the many partners in GESI are Alcatel-Lucent, Bell Canada, BT, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and Verizon.

For one am glad for this amazing informative site. Many times, the best opinions originate from the sites a person may not expect. Not long ago, I failed to give whole lot thought to commenting on blog page entries and have left opinions even less. Looking through your pleasant blog post, might motivate me to do so more regularly.
